The Use of Public Space During the Epidemic

ABSTRACT At the beginning of this article, it was shown that indicators current so-called social distance determined by decision-makers at various stages epidemic development are imprecise, do not sufficiently take into account spatial relations, unclear in public perception, and contain specific practical solutions. Therefore, study undertakes task giving term “social distancing” precise features, defined on basis geometry, providing solutions typical cases living space population. The geometry distribution people situations everyday life considered: standing during concerts or religious ceremonies, sitting meals collective catering rooms participating lectures, cultural, entertainment sports events. In latter group tasks, concept building a people-distribution scheme must be adapted to existing, arbitrary grid real places lecture hall, theater cinema, stadium. article contains some examples with comments an evaluation benefits, both terms ensuring safety effective use space.
